Ink Institute – Cats Daily – Cat at Dusk

Notes from the study: Cat at Dusk has me in a chokehold. I love the swatch, it’s like rainclouds. It was temperamental in my hobonichi, a bit dry even with my Esterbrook broad nib. I added some Railroad X, an “ink lubricating additive.” One small drop was too much for my 5ml sample, but after that I found the ink looked great in a Sailor Pro Gear Slim in MF. You definitely want to play with this one, find the right combo to bring out shading and colours.
