Notes from the study: a gentle, straightforward blue, but with a twist of shimmer. Well behaved in my pen. In terms of colours, Cat at Dawn is close, albeit without the shimmer. I had a poster of Van Gogh’s Starry Night on my wall at university, and saw quite a lot of Van Gogh when I was semi-living in the Netherlands in the 00s. This brings back some lovely memories.
The Painter Series is a collection of expressive inks, each inspired by a specific work of art, with a focus on distinctive shading and colour variation.
Dominant Industry is a South Korean ink maker established in 2020. It’s known for richly-coloured standard inks and shimmering Pearl inks, which come packaged in a beautiful teardrop-shaped bottle.
Full 25ml bottles come boxed, with dust bag, and eyedropper.
